GROUP and
SCHOOL VISITS The Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway is pleased to welcome visits by groups and school parties. These can be either during a normal open day or at an agreed time and date when the railway is not normally open to the public. The cost of a visit during periods when the railway is not open to the public depends upon several factors including the type of locomotive required, the estimated length of the visit and the number of people attending. Recent visitors have included local schools, enthusiast groups and vintage vehicle clubs who have found the generous amount of car parking and display space a great advantage. |
| OTHER FACILITIES:- As well as the operating
woodland railway the collection contains vintage cars, a working steam beam
engine, traction engines, a large model railway, a Dutch street organ, woodland
walks, a tea room, large car park and toilets (including facilties for the
disabled). The location lends itself to photographic and film shoots seeking a
private but attractive location. Contact for all visit and facility enquiries:- Mr W. Best on 01622 884254 |
