In 1995 this building was declared 'the most significant building at risk in London'. Now restored for the nation Danson House has now opened its doors to the public for the first time in 30 years.

Built during the 1760s to the design of Sir Robert Taylor for Sir John Boyd, a wealthy London Merchant, the House features additions by Sir William Chambers. The House stands in the middle of attractive parkland featuring formal gardens and a 20 acre lake.
