The Historic Dockyard Chatham is one of the
worlds leading maritime heritage locations.
This impressive 80-acre site contains spectacular
architecture and exciting naval and maritime exhibits. Galleries include three
Historic Warships the cold war submarine Ocelot, HMS Cavalier the Second
World War destroyer and HMS Gannet (1878) the last sloop of Queen
Victorias Navy plus the RNLI's national collection of lifeboats, the
Museum of the Royal Dockyard tracing 400 of maritime history, a working Ropery
which uses traditional methods and the award winning Wooden Walls gallery
incorporating The Road to Trafalgar exhibition. There are also beautiful gardens to explore and both indoor and
outdoor childrens play areas.

The Historic Dockyard is open seven days a week from Saturday 9th
February until Sunday 2nd November 2008. (Also open weekends in November)

to 20th March 10am to 4pm - galleries closing from 3.15pm 21st March to 25th October 10am to 6pm - galleries closing from
5.15pm 26th October onwards 10am to 4pm
