The Guildhall Museum provides an exciting insight into the past history of the Medway Towns from pre-historic times to the 20th Century. Lots of authentic objects, colourful informative displays and interactive exhibits set in two fine historic buildings make a visit fun, enjoyable and educational.

The Medway Napoleonic Hulks exhibit at the heart of the Guildhall is hugely popular with visitors of all ages. Interpretive material relating to this exhibit is provided in English and French.

The Charles Dickens Discovery Room and associated Audio Visual Theatre and the unique 'Rochester Riverside Eye' in-gallery camera interactive provide the highlights of Part 2 of the museum.

A range of temporary exhibitions complement the permanent displays and family-friendly events and special activities are held during the school holidays. For schools and other community groups the Museum operates an Education Service - please call or email for details.
