A small, privately owned ancestral home, circa
1714, run by the family who always offer a very personal welcome.
Spectacular hlllside garden with extensive views.
Bluebell wood with rhodedendrons, azeleas and Japanese maples. Sheltered
terraces with roses and rare shrubs. Fine specimen trees. Garden Guides printed
in French, German & Japanese.
The
house is not normally open to visitors but guided tours of the house are
available for pre -booked groups of 20+.
Riverhill House Gardens are
unsuitable for disabled access but there is free access for wheelchair users to
the Tea Terrace which is on the same level as the car park.
Free car park, picnics welcome, Country House catering
in the old stables, mini shop, and excellent toilets. Sorry but dogs not
allowed.

The GARDENS are open to everyone Sundays and Bank Holiday weekends
from Easter to 20th June, 11.00am - 5.00 p.m. Also open Thursday April
17th and Thursday May 15th as part of the National Garden
Scheme.
