Discover the Tudor Castle, now a country residence
of the Lord Wardens of the Cinque Ports, and its beautiful gardens, including
the Queen Mother's Garden.
The Castle was the former residence of the Duke of
Wellington and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. You can see the
room in which Wellington died and the reception rooms used by the Queen Mother
for entertaining. Your admission includes an inclusive audio tour of the
castle. There is a shop, a plant sales section and a tearoom.
