This is an atmospheric church of  Norman origins with substantially rebuilt tall Victorian Nave. The brick south chapel of 1697 contains a romantic memorial to the Bertie family showing husband and wife holding hands. The early eighteenth century brick north chapel holds a fantastical monument by Greene of Camberwell to Sir Henry Furnesse. Tiered like a wedding cake it is almost impossible to see the top! The chancel has fine Victorian murals and alabaster reredos, whilst there are some very fine examples of Victorian stained glass throughout the building. The church stands right on the North Downs Way.
