Belmont is an elegant 18th Century House set in parkland on the rolling Kent Downs. It's gardens are a charming mix of formal and informal planting and include a pinetum with grotto, a Walled Garden and a Kitchen Garden with Victorian Greenhouses.There are several orchards on the Estate.

The House contents echo ownership by the Harris family since 1801, these reflect government and military positions held in India and the West Indies. The collection includes fine Indian silverware, watercolours by Cazabon and an extensive clock collection.
