Biddenden Vineyards is Kent's oldest commercial vineyard, established by the Barnes family in 1969. Plantings, which started as 1/3 acre have now grown to 22 acres, with vines producing award winning white, rosé, red and sparkling wines. As well as producing quality wines, the vineyard is also Kent's largest cider producer and home to the famous Biddenden Cider. Kentish culinary and desert apples are used to produce strong, still ciders, along with a number of speciality ciders. Also made at the vineyard is Biddenden Apple juice, a clear cider produced from a blend of Cox and Bramley apples. The vineyard is open to visitors throughout the year and admission and tastings are FREE of charge. Free guided tours are run on selected Saturdays - please see our website for a list of dates - www.biddendenvineyards.com Full details for visiting and any special events at www.biddendenvineyards.com
