A popular family orientated park, Brockhill Country Park has lots to offer, from its rich variety of wildlife, to its wonderful walks.

The park, once part of the estate of a Norman manor, has a central lake and full facilities for a family day out. There is a children’s play area and the excellent Brockhill Café.

With its stream and open grazed valley fringed with large specimen trees, Brockhill is a lovely place to walk.

The park is rich in wildlife, including marbled white butterflies, green woodpeckers and carpets of snowdrops. It is also a Site of Nature Conservation Interest and has three distinctive areas to explore:

• The Deer Paddock' is an attractive grassy area with trees such as walnut and variegated sycamore
• The Lake' is a shady oasis for wildlife, fringed with trees
• The Valley' is the largest area of the park and has alder trees along its centre, marking the course of the Brockhill stream.
