Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury is a family day out where fun, education and conservation combine. Set over 100 acres of beautiful ancient parkland, Howletts is home to some of the world's most rare and endangered animals including; lions, tigers, black rhino and western lowland gorillas.

Visitors can walk among the resident family of lively lemurs at Walking With Lemurs, have unforgettable close encounters at the glass fronted tiger enclosures or marvel at the largest herd of African elephants in the UK.

Are you brave enough for the Treetop Challenge? Negotiate your way across treacherous tyres, perilous tightropes, wobbly logs and balancing beams between platforms high in the tree tops. See the park from a monkey's perspective and zoom to the finish on the zip wire! Or for the younger adventurer try our NEW Animal Adventure Challenge, a mini version of our Treetop Challenge!

Don’t forget to pick up your free Ranger’s Log book.  An activity book where children can become a ranger for the day, whilst collecting special stamps that are dotted around the park and learning interesting facts about the animals.  With a full calendar of events there is plenty to see and do for the whole family, you’ll want to come back again and again!

With the Howletts Passport you can enjoy the park all year round for the price of just one standard entry ticket! Alternatively with the new Gold Card (a passport allowing unlimited entry to both Howletts and Port Lympne Wild Animal Parks for a year) visitors will now have the option to watch their favourite animals at both parks grow and develop over the year.
