Port Lympne Wild Animal Park set over 600 acres, with far reaching views to the Kent coast and beyond, is the only wild animal park in Kent offering a unique safari experience.   Board a safari truck and be transported to The African Experience where giraffe, black rhino, ostrich, zebra and more can be seen roaming freely as if on the plains of Africa.

Visitors can follow clues along the self guided trails, centred around a different theme every month, as they explore the home of some of the most endangered species on the planet including our world famous western lowland gorillas, the largest herd of black rhino in the UK, big cats, small cats, primates and more.  

Discover four on foot zones to meet big cats and small cats in Carnivore Territory, marvel at the monkeys, lemurs and western lowland gorillas on the Primate Trail, grab a snack or board a safari truck at Basecamp and say hi to the meerkats in the Discovery Zone.

Port Lympne, famous for its wide open spaces and stunning scenery, is a breeding sanctuary for some of the world’s most endangered animals. The park prides itself on its large natural enclosures filled with foliage providing shelter and privacy for the animals - it’s the perfect place to witness conservation in action.
