You’ll find something for all the family in Kent’s largest military museum and it’s only “Designated” collection. Exhibits of national and international importance are housed in the museum galleries, telling the story of Britain’s explosive military history from the 1700’s as well as a great deal of local history from the Medway area. Get up close and personal with the regalia of Lord Kitchener, or read the heroic stories of 25 Victoria Cross winners and see the great honour for yourself. Our collection contains items from many different cultures and societies from around the world, and our range of military vehicles (including a Harrier Jump-jet) is so large it not only fills our grounds, but a gallery at the Historic Dockyard Chatham as well.
