The beautiful home of England's leading premium wine producer, The Chapel Down Winery is situated in the Garden of England near the pretty Wealden town of Tenterden.

Designed and built by local artisans, using the materials used in the winemaking process and set in landscaped grounds, including over 22 acres of vineyards, the winery gives English wine a home to be proud of.

The Wine and Fine Food Store is open to visitors 7 days a week throughout the year from 10.00am to 5.00pm where our staff are more than happy to talk to you about the wines and offer tastings.

Visitors are free to stroll in the grounds including the beautiful old Herb Garden and the vineyards. Vineyard maps and trails are also available to collect in store. Access to the working winery is strictly by guided tour only.

Here at Chapel Down we have a variety of tasting and tour experiences to meet your needs, whether its Corporate Tastings, Guided Tours and Group Tours or a Gift Experience. Each offers you the opportunity to taste some of the UK finest wines.

Opened in May 2012 ‘The Swan’ our newly refurbished restaurant serves a great value, locally sourced English menu with homemade treats, sharing boards and savouries available throughout the day in a uniquely beautiful environment.
